Maintenance of Ultraviolet Air Sterilizer

Ultraviolet air sterilizer, also known as circulating air ultraviolet disinfection machine, is a kind of ultraviolet air disinfection device composed of ultraviolet germicidal lamp with the central ultraviolet wavelength of 253.7nm, filter and fan. Ultraviolet air sterilizers are widely used in hospitals, disease control centers, blood stations, clinics, laboratories of scientific research institutions and universities, enterprise production workshops, libraries, archives, etc.

The working principle of the ultraviolet air sterilizer is: the ultra-static centrifugal fan sucks part of the dirty air in the closed room into the machine, and filters out the large and small dust in the air through the (coarse effect + medium effect + activated carbon + photocatalyst) composite filter. The ultra-strong ultraviolet lamp installed on the air inlet side of the filter can instantly kill bacteria in the flowing air, and then send the clean air that has been filtered out of dust and sterilized back to the room. The clean air quickly circulates to achieve the purpose of air purification and sterilization.

Tips for the maintenance of ultraviolet air sterilizer:
1. Keep the disinfection machine clean and dry. Wipe the surface with a damp cloth after disinfection every day. When cleaning it, you should cut off the power and pull out the plug, at the same time, avoid direct contact with water or flushing.
2. When the sterilizer is operating, it is strictly forbidden to bring objects or hands close to the ventilation inlet and outlet of the sterilizer. During handling and loading, prevent the sterilizer from being hit by hard objects or falling to the ground.
3. If the disinfection machine works abnormally (fault display or alarm), please immediately turn off the power switch, pull out the plug, and call the equipment maintenance professional personnel to check it.
4. Check the filter every month. Uncover the air inlet panel, remove the filter, and clean it with pure water or water with neutral detergent. Do not scrub it with brush tools, and the water temperature should not exceed 40°C to avoid deformation. After dried in a cool and ventilated place after washing, install it in the same way, and replace the filter every year. The cleaning and replacement of the filter should be recorded.
5. The cumulative use time of the disinfection machine does not exceed 4000 hours. If the cumulative time is reached, the ultraviolet lamp should be replaced and make a record about it.
6. There should be no covering on the top of the sterilizer, nor should it be used in an environment such as a cabinet. When the sterilizer is used to disinfect several  environments in turn, do remember to gently handle and push it to reduce vibration.
